Lähilääkärit management team

Kustaa is the CEO of Lähilääkärit and also sees patients as a general practicioner. He is an experienced growth entrepreneur and leader in social and healthcare services. His previous companies include Med Group, Omaeläinklinikka, and Sofita. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Kustaa served as Chief Medical Officer for the City of Helsinki. He has a particular interest in developing services to be both impactful and customer-oriented.

Eetu is one of the founders of Lähilääkärit. He has previously worked as an entrepreneur in MedOne, Med Group, and Kuura Digilääkäri. Eetu has also held executive positions in public social and healthcare services. From 2022 to 2024, he served as a member of the Executive Board of Pihlajalinna Plc.

Timo is the Medical Director of Lähilääkärit and also sees patients as a general practitioner. He has over 15 years of experience in primary healthcare and emergency services. From 2019 to 2025, he led the health centre operations for the City of Helsinki as well as parts of the specialised medical care. Timo has a particular interest in improving continuity and effectiveness of care, and in developing services with a customer-oriented approach.

Sonia is the Business Development Manager at Lähilääkärit and she plays a key role in developing the business. She is also responsible for our IT and systems, among other areas. Sonia holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management and has several years of experience in business development roles in the healthcare sector.
